Costa Blanca
Costa Blanca, in the South East of Spain has been declared the most healthy area in the world by the World Healh Organisation. The average annual temperature is 18 degrees and therefore it isn't surprising that many RA patients seek their salvation at Costa Blanca.
The natural beauty of Costa Blanca is very diversified, with many idyllic beaches, sheltered bays and beautiful rock formations. The infrastructure for tourists has been developed extensively. Wonderful cities and villages, plenty of catering, children's entertainment, sport facilities and a number of amazing golf courses.
In the culinary field, there is a wide variety of different authentic cuisines. A visit to the typical Spanish restaurant El Meson de La Costa in Torrevieja is a must. Of course just a nice drink at one of the numerous terraces is another possibility.
Torrevieja and Guardamar del Segura are two populair cities.
Torrevieja is a typical Spanish city with its wonderful boulevards where a lot of activities take place. Next to the casino is the large-scale shopping center Habeneras with also a Carrefour. There are lovely restaurants around the marina to be found too.
Guardamar del Segura has been growing rapidly over the last years. The golden coloured and wide beaches ensure a fantatstic beach holiday. For nature lovers the beach changes into a beautiful dune area with a palm forest. In the centre of town you can find typical Spanish trades people and cosy bars and restaurants are not missing either.
